I truly appreciate that you list how long the house has been on the market and whether the price has changed since it was placed on the market. We are one of the homes that Mike is referring to in his most resent article called, “Make the Impression that Makes the Sale.” Yes, our house was on the market and sold the very first day. Now some would call that luck, while we call it the product of the best-run real estate organization in DFW. Simply put, Mike gets it done. We took advantage of Mike’s FREE move-up program and paid absolutely nothing in real estate brokerage fees. Mike made working with the buying agent a smooth process, and even helped us find a handy man to make the minor repairs found on the inspection. I was a frustrated, rushed home buyer. We had to find a house in 30 days to vacate a rental house, and the rental market in DFW in the summer of 2011 was much more challenging than it was about that time last year when we had moved in. After abandoning the rental market to look to purchase instead, we found a realtor through a referral. After searching MLS for a week, I was overwhelmed with the number of houses that I'd have to wade through and schedule showings for. When I asked that realtor about new homes, his response was, "I can help you with that, but I'm not familiar with any of the available communities or builders. You can just search for them online. Just remember to put my name on the paperwork when you go to the sales office" -- not exactly what I wanted to hear given my current level of frustration. About this time I had heard through a friend that his realtor offered him a 2.5% cash rebate after closing on his new house. After shaking away the disbelief, I searched online for realtors in the area that offered a cash rebate. Some of the hits I received looked questionable, and none of them looked anything as close to the professional polish that ARG's site contained. I was surprised to see that ARG's rebate was actually 3% in some cases, so naturally my first question for them when I called was, "Are you guys really legit?" After explaining things for me and answering all my questions, I had a 15 minute phone call with Mike. At the end of that phone call, he had not only told me about all of the new home communities in the area and neighborhood demographics, but even available houses that matched my criteria. This guy totally specializes in new homes. That night we visited the first house he recommended and signed papers that evening. I can't tell you how excited we were to be done with our house search, and then to end up with a new house with a 3% cash rebate! That type of experience is what causes a busy guy like myself to take some time and write a referral. Thanks Mike!
