Hollyhock Frisco Now Borders the New PGA Headquaters Golf Course!

And just like that, Hollyhock in Frisco now finds itself bordering the newly announced 600 acres PGA Headquarters that will host its "Grand Opening" celebration in 2022! I mean, who could have predicted this?

This new 36 hole tournament class golf course will quickly become the new epicenter for the PGA in the United States. What is planned are 2 - 18 hole PGA tournament class golf courses that are slated to host its first professional tour events in 2023. Also included, as reported on pga.com are a "short course and practice area totaling 45 holes; a clubhouse; Class AA office space; a 500 room Omni resort and 127,000 square foot conference center; a technologically advanced retail village; parks and open space plus several miles of trails."

According to PGA.com, this project is estimated to generate approximately $2.5 Billion in revenue over 20 years. PGA.COM also says, " The entire project will have an initial, estimated public-private investment totaling more than $520 million.  The PGA of America will invest $30 million to build its 100,000-square-foot global headquarters and education facility.  OSW will invest $455 million to purchase the land, construct the hotel, conference center, retail space, parking facilities, and golf courses.  The golf courses, clubhouse, practice areas, and associated public facilities will be owned by the city.  More than 300 FISD high school golfers will practice at the facility on a weekly basis."

The 600 Acre PGA Headquarters will be bordered to the East by a just-announced 250-acre mixed-use project that might shape up to become a new "Legacy Town Center" styled venue, but time will tell. And this is just the start as both the PGA HQ and 250-acre project are part of a larger 2500 acre parcel of land sold by Bert Fields Jr. to Hunt Realty Investments. It very much appears that North Frisco, might become some of the hottest real estate in the United States and it's all starting to happen right now.

You don't need to be as smart as "Einstein" to imagine what is about to happen to well-located North Frisco real estate. If you're considering North Frisco, you might want to consider making your home buying plans sooner to lock in today's prices, versus risking paying considerably more later, as location has always been the number one driving factor affecting real estate value.
