Paint Tip You'll Thank Me For - I Promise!

Posted by Mike Askins on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at 7:53pm.

If you are going to paint your home and plan to stay for a long time, perhaps 7 or more years, and you're searching for a paint that is COLORFAST for easy touchups and scrubbable, then my kind friends, I recommend Pittsburgh Paints "MANOR HALL." You will not be disappointed.

I just completed touching up my 2013 painted home (photo below), and I can't tell where it was touched up! The match was perfect. I used Egg Shell in the Kitchen and entry, its hard to tell it's not FLAT, but there is a faint sheen and flat interior wall paint everywhere else. I even forgettingly used FLAT on an Egg Shell wall, and could not tell I made a mistake until I saw light reflecting at an odd angle.

Man, if that isn't a "color locked paint, then I don't know what else is. If you like the wall color, let me know, as I have the paint codes. My painter Palo, came up with this tone of paint. It is a custom color tone, that you won't get tired of. Palo did all the paint work. It has a very low tendancy to look yellow, and when you light up your home with 4000K LED's or even 5000K LED's any yellow tendancy disappears. The look is amazing.

Most paint, including builder paint, is not colorfast, and is made using light-sensitive dyes which changes color in as little as 6 months, which makes it quite useless for touchups.

You'll pay a little more for Pittsburg Paints, but if you want a longer-term solution for your next paint job, they are worth every penny from my experience.

For a long lasting interior paint that is color fast, try Manor Hall, by Pittsburgh Paints
